You make a donation associated with a cat-themed acknowledgement. You do not take ownership of a cat or reserve the care of a named animal. If you are looking for a companion to join your household, a suitable local rescue can explain its rehoming process.

Different cats need different outcomes
A cat recovered after a trade interception may need veterinary assessment, safe temporary care and enquiries about an owner. Community-cat management is a different task. International Cat Care describes a range of outcomes for unowned cats, with individual welfare and local circumstances central to choosing an appropriate path.
A proposed recipient should explain the animals’ needs, its authority and facilities, and the arrangements for continuing care. Return, reunion, rehoming and longer-term accommodation are different outcomes; a donation does not guarantee any one of them.
